1st Texas Rangers game

Brett and I are both big fans of baseball. We try to catch a Rangers game at least once a season. He heard the Yankees were in town last week and being a big fan of the Yankees, he asked me to get us some tickets, so that we could take Jackson. We had experimented with a few of the local school's playoff games and he did really well, so we felt that he would enjoy his 1st MLB game....or at least tolerate it with us. I think God was being kind to us, b/c we got great seats (1, 2 & 3) and there was a wall behind us, so no one to bother but the poor lady sitting in front of us. The weather was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better night. And yes, you will notice the pictures are in the wrong order....I will know for next time. ;-)

Jackson has had just about enough fun.

He was starting to get tired and tried to distract himself
by giving me a hug and pulling my hair.

Some nice guy gave us "tokens" to play these little games in the kid area.
Jackson tried his best to throw it to the catcher.
He also played a game of Plinko, pin the tail on the horse
and some sling shot game. Thankfully, they gave out
baseball cards instead of candy!

Our family of 3....Kelton was at Nana's house getting spoiled.

Brett and Jackson with their matching Rangers shirts. Now, I have to say that they have matching Yankee shirts....that we searched the streets of NY for back in the fall, but Brett felt bad about wearing them, that is until we got to the game and tons of Yankee fans were sporting their shirts. No matter which team they were supporting, I thought my boys looked cute and I enjoyed spending the evening with them eating hotdogs, nachos and pretzels!
